let the first no. x
then 2nd no. = x+2
3rd no. = x+4
sum = 234
so
x + x+2 +x+ 4 = 234
3x + 6 =234
3x = 228
x = 76

so no. are
1st no. 76
2nd no. 78
rd no. 80

 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

STEP 1: Define x:

Let the smallest number be x

The other two numbers are (x + 2) and (x + 4)

............................................................................................. .

STEP 2: Form equation:

Their sum is 234

x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 234

..............................................................................................

STEP 3: Solve x:

x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 234

x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 234

3x + 6 = 234

3x = 228

x = 76

..............................................................................................

STEP 4: Find the numbers:

first number = x = 76

second number = x + 2 = 76 + 2 = 78

third number = x + 4 = 76 + 4 = 80

..............................................................................................

Answer: The numbers are 76, 78 and 80

 \textbf {Cheers}
