Hey there!

Here's your answer:

Let the three consecutive multiples of 3 be x , x+3 and x+6.

Given, the sum of x, x+3 and x+6 is 71.

  • x + x+3 + x+6 = 71
  • 3x + 9 = 71
  • 3x = 71 - 9
  • 3x = 62
  • x = 62/3
  • x = 2.66

Therefore x = 2.66 , x + 3 = 5.66 and x +6 = 8.66.

Hope helped!~~
