Find three consecutive natural number such that the sum of the first and second is15 more than third

Let the 1st, 2nd and 3rd no. be x, y and z.

(x +y) - z = 15
=> x + y - z = 15
=> (2x + 1) - (x + 2) = 15
=> 2x + 1 - x - 2 = 15
=> x - 1 = 15
=> x = 15 + 1
=> x = 16

Therefore, the no.s are 16, 17 and 18.
