According to question :-

the sum of the last two is 15 less than 5 times the first.

It means that

the sum of ( x + 2 ) and ( x + 4 ) is 15 less than 5 times the x .

( x + 2 ) + ( x + 4 ) = 5x - 15

x + 2 + x + 4 = 5x - 15

2x + 6 = 5x - 15

6 + 15 = 5x + 2x

21 = 7x

or ;

7x = 21

x = 21 / 7

x = 3

So, the consecutive odd numbers are :-

x = 3

x + 2 = 3 + 2 = 5

x + 4 = 3 + 4 = 7

=> 3 , 5 and 7
