Let the three consecutive numbers be x, x+2, x+4.
x+x+2+x+4= 186
3x+6= 186
3x= 186-6
3x= 180
x= 180/3
x= 60
Answer: The first number is 60.
The second number is 60+2= 62.
The third number is 60+4= 64.
Hope it helps! :)

Let one of the even nos. be x.so, other nos. are x+2 and x+4.
we have,x+(x+2)+(x+4)= 186
⇒3x + 6 = 186 ⇒ 3x = 180
⇒ x = 60
∴ The three consecutive even nos. are,x= 60,x+2 = 62, andx+4 = 64
we have,x+(x+2)+(x+4)= 186
⇒3x + 6 = 186 ⇒ 3x = 180
⇒ x = 60
∴ The three consecutive even nos. are,x= 60,x+2 = 62, andx+4 = 64
