ANSWERS :-

17/24 , 18/24 and 19/24

Step-by-step explanation:

There are many ways ....

But for me the easiest one is :-

EQUALISING THE DENOMINATORS...

We are given 2 rational numbers :- 2/3, 5/6

Let us first equal the denominator by taking L.C.M of denominators 3,6 and it is 6...

So by multiplying 2 in both numerator and denominator in 2/3 it makes 4/6..

Now in 4/6 and 5/6 we can't find 3 denominators...

So again multiplying 2 to both numerator and denominator :-

it gives - 8/12 , 10/12

Again multiplying 2 to both numerator and denominator :-

it gives :-

16/24 , 20/24....

Now we can easily find 3 rational numbers and these are :-

17/24 , 18/24 and 19/24 ....

I hope it will be helpful ......

So can u mark it as brainlist

Question

Find three rational numbers between \frac{2}{3} \ and \ \frac{5}{6}

\rule{300}{1}

Answer

To find rational number we need to follow the steps below.

Step 1: Find the LCM of the denominators.

\begin{array}{r | l}  2&3,6 \\ \cline{2-2} 3 &  3,3\\ \cline{2-2}  &  1,1\\ \end{array}

∴ The LCM of the denominators is ⇒ 2×3 = 6

Step 2: Make the denominators equal.

\frac{2\times 2 }{3\times 2 } =\frac{4}{6}

\frac{5\times 1 }{6\times 1 } =\frac{5}{6}

Step 3: If the required number of rational numbers are found between the numerators you can list that but if not you have to follow this step. You must multiply any number to the numerator and denominator of both numbers. Here I'll multiply 4 but you can multiply any number like 5, 7, 10, 100, etc.

\frac{4\times 4}{6\times 4 } =\frac{16}{24}

\frac{5\times 4}{6\times 4} =\frac{20}{24}

∴ Three rational numbers between ²/₃ and ⁵/₆ are ⇒ \bf \frac{17}{24}, \frac{18}{24} \ and \ \frac{19}{24}.
