In the given circuit, the current travels from A to B.
2 Resistors of 3 ohm between AN & NM are in series connection. Resistance in ANM = 3 + 3 = 6 ohm.
ANM and AM are in parallel. So their resistance will be:
1/R = 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3
R = 3 ohm
Similarly, 3 ohm + 3ohm (of AML) will be 6 ohm and this will continue till AK.
Resistance in AK = 3 ohm. Resistance in AKB = 3 + 3 = 6 ohm.
AKB and AB are in parallel combination and so, their equivalent resistance will be:
1/R = 1/6 + 1/3 = (1+2)/6 = 3/6 = 1/2
R = 2 ohm.
Hence, the equivalent resistance of the circuit is 2 ohm.
