x+y=9/10—(1)
x–y=2/10—(2)
Adding and solving equation (1) & (2)
x=11/20 & y=7/20
The two decimal fractions are 11/20,7/20

Answer:

 \green { Required \: two \: decimals \:are \: 0.55 \:and \: 0.35}

Step-by-step explanation:

 Let \: \pink {x}\:and \: \blue {y}\:are \: decimal\: fractions

/* According to the problem given ,

 Sum \: of \: the \: decimals = 0.9

 \implies x + y = 0.9 \: ---(1)

 Difference \: of \: the \: decimals = 0.2

\implies x - y = 0.2 \: ----(2)

 Add \: equation\: (1) \:and \: (2) ,\:we \:get

 x + y + x - y = 0.9 + 02

\implies 2x = 1.1

 \implies x = \frac{1.1}{2}

 \implies x = 0.55

 Substitute \: x = 0.55 \: in \: equation \: (2) ,\:we \:get

 \implies 0.55 + y = 9

 \implies y = 0.9 - 0.55

 \implies y = 0.35

Therefore.,

 \green { Required \: two \: decimals \:are \: 0.55 \:and \: 0.35}
