( x-y) 2 = (x+y) 2-4xy

= (40)2 - 4 (375)

= 1600 - 1500

(x-y) 2 = 100

X-y = 10 eq2

Solve eq1 and eq2

eq1 +eq2

2x = 50

X = 50/2

X =25

It's value sustute in eq1

25 + y = 40

Y = 40 - 25

Y = 15

:. X =25, Y = 15
