let the first no. be "x"
let the second no. be "y"
3x + 2y = 30 ......... ( 1 )
2x + y = 17 ......... ( 2)
by elimination method we can solve this
3x + 2y = 30 ( * by 2 )
2x + y = 17 ( * by 3)
= 6x + 4y = 60
6x + 3y = 51
by subtracting this 1 eq from 2 eq
y = 9
Putting y is equal to
9 1st equation
3x + 2× 9 = 30
3x = 30 - 18
x = 4
