Find the numbers =?

\large{ \sf \underline{ \red{Solution: - }}}

42 can be product of = 1 × 42 , 2 × 21 , 3 × 14 , 6 × 7

For first 1 × 42 here greater number is 42 , so

42× 10 = 420 that is greater than 200 by

420 - 200 = 220

And 5 times of smaller = 1 × 5 = 5

that is falls short of 20 = 20 - 5 = 15

So,

We can see that

15 ≠ 220

\large{ \sf \underline{ \blue{Now  \: we \:  check \:  for \:  2  ×   21 : - }}}

here greater number is 21 , so 21 × 10 = 210

That is greater than 200 by

210 - 200 = 10

And

5 times of smaller number = 2 × 5 = 10

That is falls short of 20 = 20 - 10 = 10

Hence

10 = 10

So our two numbers that gives As product of 42 , and satisfied our given two condition is = 2 and 21
