Let the positive numbers be 2x and 5x

Then

5x-2x=15

3x=15

x=15/3

x=5

Then

Two numbers are 2*5=10 and 5*5=25

Two numbers are 25 and 10



Verification,

25/10=5/2

And

5*5-2*5

25-10

=15

Hence proved that my answer is correct

let the two positive numbers be 2x and 5x.

if there difference is 15

then,

=> 5x - 2x = 15

=> 3x = 15

=> x = 15/3

=> x = 5

hence, first positive number = 2x

= 2×5

= 10

second positive number = 5x

= 5×5

= 25

VERIFICATION:-

= 25-10

= 15

hence verified
