Answer :-

The two numbers are in the ratio - 2 : 5

So, Let the numbers be 2x and 5x

According to the question :-

Difference of the numbers = 15

➩ 5x - 2x = 15

➩ 3x = 15

➩ x = 15/3

➩ x = 5

Numbers = 2 × 5 = 10

5 × 5 = 25

So, the two numbers are 10 and 25.

Verification :-

Ratio of two numbers :- 10 : 25 = 2 : 5

Difference = 25 - 10 = 15

Hence, our answer is correct.
