First,take the L.C.M of denominators of 1/4 and 3/8 I.e.8 than multiply 1/4 with 2/2 and 3/8 with1/1 so that u'll get the same denominator 8 that is the L.C.M but u can not find the 2 rational numbers between 2/8 and 3/8 because there is no rational number between 2/8 and 3/8 so multiply both rational numbers by 3 that is +1 of the rational numbers you want to find out so the product obtained will be 6/24 and and 9/24 so the two rational numbers between 6/24 and 9/24 are 7/24 and 8/24.
