Two rational numbers between 3 and 6 are:-

1st rational number = 1/2(a+b)

= 1/2(3+6)

= 1/2×9

= 9/2

= 4.5

2nd rational number = 1/2(a+b)

= 1/2(4.5+6)

= 1/2(45/10+6/1)

= LCM of 10 & 1 = 10

= 1/2(45/10+60/10)

= 1/2×105/10

= 105/20

= 21/4

= 5.25

Therefore, the two rational numbers between 3 and 6 are 4.5 and 5.25 .
