given: 2x-5y=0

let, X=0
2(0)- 5y= 0
-5y=0
y=0

let, y=0
2x-5(0)=0
2x=0
X=0

first solution= X=0; y=0
second solution= X=0; y=0

The two solutions for the given equation are (0,0) and (5,2).

Given:

The given equation is 2x-5y = 0.

To Find:

We have to find two solutions for the given equation.

Solution:

We have,

2x-5y = 0

or, 2x= 5y

or, x= 5y/2

Now, if we put y=0,

x= 5 (0)/2= 0

So, the first solution is (0,0) i.e. x=0, y=0.

Next, if we put y=2,

x= 5(2)/2 = 5

So, the second solution is (5,2) i.e. x=5, y=2.

Hence, the two solutions of the given equation are (0,0) and (5,2).
