Hey mate !!

Here's the answer !!

We can express the number 1001 in the form ( 1000 + 1 )

So to calculate 1001², we can calculate as ( 1000 + 1 )².

We know that the number is in the form ( a + b )².

We know that,

( a + b )² = a² + b² + 2ab

So here a = 1000, b = 1

So substituting them in the formula we get,

( 1001 )² = 1000² + 1² + 2 ( 1000 ) ( 1 )

( 1001 )² = 1000000 + 1 + 2000

1001² = 1002001

The sum is solved and the identity used here is ( a + b )²

Hope my answer helped !!

Cheers !!
