ANSWER:

  • Value of P(0) = 3

GIVEN:

  • P(x) = 5x²-4x+3

TO FIND:

  • Value of P(x) at x = 0.

SOLUTION:

P(x) = 5x²-4x+3

Putting x = 0

=> P(0) = 5(0)²-4(0)+3

=> P(0) = 0-0+3

=> P(0) = 3

Value of P(0) = 3

NOTE:

  • If we have to find value of P(x) at any value then we have to put that value in place of x.

Some important formulas related to polynomial.

(a+b)² = a²+b²+2ab

(a-b)² = a²+b²-2ab

(a+b)(a-b) = a²-b²

(a+b)³ = a³+b³+3ab(a+b)

(a-b)³ = a³-b³-3ab(a-b)

a³+b³ = (a+b)(a²+b²-ab)

a³-b³ = (a-b)(a²+b²+ab)

(a+b)² = (a-b)²+4ab

(a-b)² = (a+b)²-4ab

Given, x = 0

Given expression :

 {5x}^{2}  - 4x + 3

Putting the value of x in this expression :

5  {x}^{2} - 4x + 3 \\  = (5 \times  {0}^{2} ) - (4 \times 0) + 3 \\  = (5 \times 0) - (4 \times 0) + 3 \\  = 0 - 0 + 3 = 3

Answer: 3
