let p(x) = x^3+ 3x^2+4x+a
 put x+6=0,x= -6
p(x) =
 -6^3+ 3(-6)^2+4(-6) + a
p(x) = -216 + 3(36)-24 +a
p(x) = -216+ 108-24+a
p(x) = -216 + 84 +a
p(x) = -132 + a
  as x+6 is factor of
 x^3+ 3x^2+4x + a
p(x)=
 x^3+ 3x^2+4x + a =0
p(x) = -132+a=0
      => a=132
