Find value of ∠AOB, if ∠ACB=42°​

Given :-

  • ∠ACB=42°
  • O is the centre of the circle . (from image.)

To Find :-

  • ∠AOB = ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Angle subtended by an arc at the centre is twice of angle subtended by it at any point on the circle.

since O is the centre of the circle .

then,

→ Angle at the centre = 2 * Angle at the circumference

→ ∠AOB = 2 * ∠ACB

→ ∠AOB = 2 * 42°

→ ∠AOB = 84° (Ans.)

Hence, ∠AOB will be 84° .
