Given:-

  • Sum of two numbers is 50
  • ratio of numbers is 2:3

To finD:

  • Numbers

Solution:-

We are given that sum of two numbers is 50 and these numbers are in the ratio of 2:3.

Let supposing 'x' as the constant of ratio.

So,

Number will be as 2x and 3x.

Now,

Given sum of these numbers are 50.

So,

2x+3x = 50

→ 5x = 50

→ x = \large{\tt{\dfrac{50}{5}}}

→ x = 10

Now,

Constant of Ratio is 10

So,

Numbers will be :-

  • 2x = 2×10 = 20
  • 3x = 3×10 = 30
