heya friends ...

consider an equilateral ∆ABCwith each side equal to 2a ,

then each angle of ∆ABC is 60°

from A draw ,AD perpendicular to BC .

then clearly ,BD =DC=a

Also ,<ADB=90°

•°•<BAD =30°

from right angled triangle ∆ADB we have

AD=√AD²-AD²=√(2a)²-(a)²=√4a²-a²=√3a

now ,As we know that ...

sin¢=p/h(perpendicular/heipotenous)

so...sin60°=p/h=√3a/2a

=√3/2 .Ans.
