2^(x -5) × 5^(x -4) = 5

take log both sides,

(x -5)log2 + (x -4)log5 = log5

(x -5)log2 = (5 - x) log5

(x -5)log2 + (x -5)log5 = 0

(x -5){log2 + log5} = 0

x = 5
