Find whether (0, −3) is a solution of linear equation, x – y + 3 =0?

Solution:

As, we have to find whether (0,3) is a solution of linear equation , x-y+3=0  or not.

If (0,3) satisfies the given linear equation , means on putting the value of, x=0, and y=3, if we get LHS=RHS

then we can say that (0,3) is solution of linear equation.

LHS at (0,3)= x-y+3=0-3+3=0

=RHS

Hence, (0,3) is solution of linear equation.
