7(p+2)=5(p+4)

7p+14=5p+20

7p-5p=20-4

2p=6

p=6/2

p=3

so,p=3

Hey There......!!

Answer: p = 3

VERIFICATION✔

7 ( p + 2 ) = 5 ( p + 4 )

Putting p = 2

7 ( 2 + 2 ) = 5 ( 2 + 4 )

7×4 = 5×6

28 = 30

Here,

LHS is not equal to RHS

Hence p is not 2

7 ( p + 2 ) = 5 ( p + 4 )

Putting p = 3

7 ( 3 + 2 ) = 5 ( 3 + 4 )

7×5 = 5×7

35 = 35

Here,

LHS = RHS

Hence, p = 3
