Let N be integer. Number digits of N from 1. Find difference between sum of digits with odd number and sum of digits with even number. If this difference is divisible by 11, then N is divisible by 11. For example, if N=923x783, lets apply rule.

(9+3+7+3)-(2+x+8)=12-x is divisible by 11. So, only value of x is 1 since 1≤x≤9.
