10/y +9/x=-8/xy
divide the equation with -xy/8
10/y×(-xy/8)+9/x×(-xy/8)=(-8/xy)(-xy/8)
(10x/-8) +(9y/-8)=1
(5x/-4)+(9y/-8)=1

[x/(-4/5)]+[y/(-8/9)]=1
therefore
x-intercept= -4/5
y-intercept=-8/9
