Hey

Given:TQR=40°,SPR=30° and QTR=90°

To find: x and y

Consider ∆TQR,

TQR + QTR + x= 180. (Angle sum prop.)

=>40+90+x=180

=>x=180-130

=>x=50.

In ∆ PSR,

SPR + PSR + x =180

=>PSR=180-30-50 (x=50 and SPR=30)

=>PSR=100

Now,

y + PSR=180 (linear pair)

=>y=180-PSR=180-100

=>y=80

Hence,x=50 and y=80.

in triangle QRT

angleRQT+angle QTR+angleQRT=180 (ASPT)

40+ 90 + x = 180

x=180-130

x=50g

now, let the intersection between PS and QT be O
in triangle OPT,
an.OTP+an.POT+an.OPT=
180(ASPT)
90+30+An.POT=180
an.POT=180-120=60
since POT = QOS (VOA)
again ,in triangle QOS,
an.OSQ
