Given Question :

Find x.

 :  \longrightarrow \sf \: 2x = 1012 - 992

Solution :

 :  \longrightarrow \sf \: 2x = 1012 - 992

Subtracting 1012 - 992,

 :  \longrightarrow \sf \: 2x = 20

Taking 2 to R.H.S.,

 :  \longrightarrow \sf \: x =  \dfrac{20}{2}

Cancelling 20 by 2,

 :  \longrightarrow \sf \: x =  \dfrac{  \:  \:  \:  \: \cancel{20} { \: }^{10} }{ \not2}

 \pink { :  \longrightarrow  \underline{ \boxed{\bf \: x =  10}} \:  \bigstar}

Hence, value of x is 10.

  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

              Given data:- 2x=1012-992.

              To find:- Value of the expression.

              Solution:-

  • Here we will use the transposition method.
  • Transposition is one of the linear equations.
  • To solve the transposition method we will Identify the variables and constants.
  • Then we Simplify the equation in LHS and RHS.
  • Now Simplify the equation using arithmetic operations.

        By using the transposition method.

        we get,

                  2x=1012-992\\=>2x=20\\=>x=\frac{20}{2}\\=>x=10.

       Hence we will get the value x=10.
