⇒\sqrt{6}^{x-2}=1   ---- (i)

We know,

√6⁰=1

So, Let's substitute (√6⁰=1) in (i).

⇒\sqrt{6}^{x-2}=\sqrt{6}^{0}

As bases are the same let's cancel the bases.

So,

⇒x-2=0

⇒x=2
