Answer:

Question :

Find x, if

 \frac{6x + 7}{3x + 2}  =  \frac{4x + 13}{2x + 5}

Answer :

 \frac{6x + 7}{3x + 2}  =  \frac{4x + 13}{2x + 5}

Cross multiply :

(6x  + 7) \times (2x + 5) = (4x + 13)  \times (3x + 2)

6x(2x + 5) + 7(2x + 5) = 4x(3x + 2) + 13(3x + 2)

12x {}^{2}  + 30x + 14x + 35 = 12 {x}^{2}  + 8x + 39x + 26

Cut 12x² from both sides as when they subtracted, they give 0.

Now, we get

30x + 14x + 35 = 8x + 39x + 26

44x + 35 = 47x + 26

35 - 26 = 47x - 44x

9 = 3x

x =  \frac{9}{3}

x = 3

 \implies Hence, the value of x is 3.
