\underline{\underline{\bold{Answer}}}

10

\huge\bold{Explanation}

\implies{8\times ( -5 + x ) = 8\times ( -5 ) + 8\times 10}

Solve the Left Hand Side firstly...

\implies{ -40 + 8x = 8\times ( -5 ) + 8\times 10}

\implies{ -40 + 8x = - 40 + 80}

Shift the -40 to right hand side....

\implies{ 8x = -40 + 80 + 40}

Solve the all the terms in right hand side....

\implies{ 8x = 80}

Let shift 8 to Right Hand Side....

\implies{ x = \dfrac{80}{8}}

\implies{ x = 10}

So the final answer is -

\boxed{\boxed{\bold{\therefore{x = 10}}}}
