log m + log n = log mn if base is same
log base m (x) = n
then x= mⁿ
thus log Base3 (x-4)+log Base3 (x-2) = 1
log Base3 (x-4)(x-2) = 1
(x-4)(x-2)= 3
x²-6x+8 = 3
x²-6x+5= 0
(x-5)(x-1) = 0
X = 5
or X = 1
but X = 1 is neglected because it do not setisfy the initial given condition
(number in log cant be negative)
