SIDE OC = SIDE OA - > ( RADII OF SAME CIRCLE

therefore by isosceles triangle theorem

angle OCA = angle OAC. ( 1 )

ANGLE AOB IS EXTERIOR ANGLE OF TRIANGLE AOC

THEREFORE BY THEOREM OF REMOTE INTERIOR ANGLE

angle AOB = angle OAC + angle OCA

80⁰ = angle OAC + angle OAC -> [ from ( 1 ) ]

80⁰ = x + x

2 x = 80⁰

x = 80 / 2

x = 40⁰
