Find x such that [2/9]^-5[2/9]^-11÷[2/9]^8=[2/9]^-8x​

Answer:

here on either sides of the equation the bases are the same , that is [2/9]

[2/9]^-5 * [2/9]^-11 / [2/9]^8  =  [2/9]^-8x

when the symbol is * we add the powers and when the symbol is /  we subtract the powers.(since all the bases are the same)

-5 + -11 -8 = -24  = -8 x

x=3
