we can write 675 as 3^3 x 5^2

5^x-3  x  3^2y-7   = 3^3   x   5^2

when bases r same we equate powers

x-3 = 2   and    2y-7 = 3

x=5 and y=5

if its x+y

then it is 10..

hope it helped u

675 = 5^2 * 3^3
and 675 = 5^ x-3 * 3^2y-7

therefore, 5^2 * 3^3 = 5^x-3 * 3^2y-7
when bases are equal we equate the powers

therefore, 2=x-3
=>x =2+3 =5
and, 3 =2y-7
=>2y =3+7
=>y = 5

For, x+y
= 5+5
= 10
Hence, the answer is 10
Hope it helps. :)
