Step-by-step explanation:

40 +x=90 .( right angle triangle)

x=50...

x = z = 50 .( because of parallel line)

p+z= 360

p+50=360

p=310...

y+z =90 ( right angle )

y+50=90

y=40....

DONE.

\bold{Explanation:}

Basic terms and concepts:

Corresponding angles: Those angles which are formed on the same side of lines.

Linear pair or angle on a straight line :Two pairs of Angles which are formed on a single line this pairs are said to be linear and together makes 180^{\circ}

From above figure,

=>X+40^{\circ}=90^{\circ}

Reason : Right angle

=>X=90^{\circ}-40^{\circ}

=>X=50^{\circ}

If X is 50^{\circ} then Z would also be 50^{\circ} (corresponding angle)

and y is 40^{\circ}(corresponding angle)

Now we see that Z and P are formed on a straight line or forming a linear pair

=>Z+P=180^{\circ}

=>50^{\circ}+P=180^{\circ}

=>P=180^{\circ}-50^{\circ}

=>P=130^{\circ}

\therefore \sf X=50^{\circ},\sf Y=40^{\circ},\sf Z=50^{\circ} And \sf P=130^{\circ}
