find x:y:z if 4x+y-3z=0,2x-y-z=0

2x+y-5z=0

= 2(2) + (1) - 5(1)

= 4+1-5

=0

7x -14z = 0

So, 7x = 14z, then x = 2z.

This means that x : z = 2 : 1.
