zeroes \: are \\ 3{x}^{2}  - x - 4 = 0 \\  {3x}^{2}  + 3x - 4x - 4 = 0

3x(x + 1) - 4(x + 1) = 0 \\ (x + 1)(3x - 4) = 0

therefore \:  \: x \: is \: equal \: to \: either \:   \\ - 1or \frac{4}{3}

sum =  - 1 +  \frac{4}{3}  =  - 3 +  \frac{4}{3}  =  \frac{1}{3}  \\ sum =  -  \frac{b}{a}  =  \frac{1}{3}

product =  - 1 \times \frac{4}{3}  =  \frac{ - 4}{3}  \\ product =  \frac{c}{a}  =  \frac{ - 4}{3}  \\ hence \: proved
