hi friend,

f(s)=2s²-(1+2√2)s+√2

= 2s²-s-2√2s+√2

=s(2s-1)-√2(2s-1)

=(s-√2)(2s-1)

so,√2,1/2 are the zeros of the given polynomial.

I hope this will help u ;)

Hey there !

f(s) = 2s²-(1+2√2)s+√2

opening the brackets :-

2s²-s - 2√2s+√2

s(2s-1) - √2(2s-1)

(s-√2) (2s-1)

Hence ,
√2, 1/2 are the zeros of the given polynomial.
