There is a formula which is used only in right angled triangle,

Pythagoras theorem,

(Sum of squares of two small sides) = square of longest side(hypotenuse)

By putting this Formula, you can get the values.

EXAMPLE:-

let,
base = b
Height = h
Hypotenuse= hy

Now,
Question,

Find the value of hypotenuse, when length is 6cm and height is 8 cm

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

6²+8² = hypotenuse² (longest side)

36+64= hypotenuse²

100=hypotenuse²

10cm = hypotenuse
