Sunil Lanba, PVSM, AVSM, ADC (born 17 July 1957) is the current and the 23rd Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy. He assumed the office on 31 May 2016 after Admiral Robin K. Dhowan and will hold office till May 2019.
