Sayed Mohammad Saahdla was the first education minister of Assam term 1924 to 1925. And he was also holding the post of agriculture minister.

Sir Syed Muhammad Saadulla was the first education minister in Assam. He was also the Prime Minister in Assam at British time. He was born on 21 st May in 1885 in Guwahati. He was the second son of his Muslim Family. He completed M. A. and LLB. At the very early age of 24 he became a good Lwayer. In 1924 he was appointed as a council of minister. Thn 1946 he also became the first education minister in Assam.
