HEY!!
✔Newton's second law states The rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the force acting on it and takes place in the direction of the force.
✔The amount of force applied is directly proportional to the rate of change of linear momentum.
⚫Hence F = ma
✔Now Newton's first law of motion states that Everybody continues to be in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by an external force.
✔Consider F =ma here F is the force applied, m is the mass, a is the acceleration.
If the force applied is zero we have F=0
Substituting this in F = ma we have ma=0 or implies a =0.
✔If there is no acceleration then it means the body is at rest with uniform motion which is the first law of motion
