  3. MEASURE THE SIDES OF THE SQUARE USING THE THREAD PIECE.
  4. NOW CALCULATE THE PERIMETER BY MEASURING THE LENGTH THE THREAD THAT IS EQUAL TO THE PERIMETER OF THE SQUARE, BY THE SCALE.
