Fish and troy can respire in water .can they respire thought their skin ? If yes why do they have gills?

fish respirate only by gills

and frog have three medium to respirate ..skin ,lungs and gills ...frog respirate through gills in water ....when frog is on land it respirate through lungs and when he enter in soil or underground then frog respirate through skin.....

Frog is an amphibian (land and water both).
