Question Correction :-

Sum of first two consecutive odd number is 56, Find both the numbers.

Step by step explaination :-

Let one number be "x" then othe consecutive number will be automatically,

=> (x+2)

So,

According to question,

=>Sum of them is 56,

Adding both of them and equating to 56, may get there values upto correct terms.

=> x+(x+2) = 56

=> 2x+2=56

=> 2x=56-2

=>2x=54

=> x= 54/2

=> x= 27

Then other term will be (x+2), according to our question.

Therefore,

other number => 27+2= 29

So , both the consecutive numbers are, 27 and 29.

Let the smaller odd number be x ,then the next consecutive odd number will be x+2

(Consecutive odd numbers differ by 2)

Then according to the question,

x+x+2=56

2x=56−2=54

x=27

x+2=29

The numbers are 27 and 29
