change in leadership may lead to instability
democracy involves political competition and power play this leaves no scope for morality
decision making is often delayed because a large number of people need to be consulted
elected leaders may not be aware about the best decisions for the people involvement of electoral competition in a democracy give rise to corruption
democracy is not a magical solution for all the problems
ordinary people may not understand the meaning of collective good and hence they should not we made a part of the decision making process

 1. Leaders try to use unjust means to come to power , they try to divide people on basis of religion , caste ,etc. to secure their vote bank.

2. Once in power , politicians and leaders tend to misuse the power bestowed  upon them by common people and work for their own benefits rather than working for common peoples.

3. In rural areas due to lack of education people are unable to make an informed decision.

4. Mny democratic countries like USA have 2 party system . This restricts the choice of people in electing as they have to choose 1 from the 2.
