Let the ages of A and B five years ago be 3b and b respectively.
=> According to the question:
=> 3b+10 = 2(b+10)
=> 3b+10 = 2b+20
=> 3b-2b = 20-10
=> b = 10
=> B's age 5 years ago = 10
=> A's age 5 years ago = 3b = 3*10 = 30
THEREFORE:
=> A's present age = 30+5 = 35
=> B's present age = 10+5 = 15.
