Hiii friend,
Let the age of ram and shyam be X and Y year's.
Before five years age of ram = (X-5) years.
Before five years age of shyam = (Y-5) years.
According to question,
(X-5) = 3(Y-5)
X -5 = 3Y -15
X-3Y = -15+5
X-3Y = -10......(1)
Again,
After 10 years age of ram = (X+10) years.
After 10 years age of shyam = (Y+10) years.
According to question,
(X+10) = 2(Y+10)
X +10 = 2Y +20
X -2Y = 20-10
X -2Y = 10.......(2)
From equation 1 we get,
X-3Y = -10
X = -10 +3Y......(3)
Putting the value of X in equation (2)
X -2Y = 10
(-10 + 3Y ) -2Y = 10
-10 + 3Y -2Y = 10
Y-10 = 10
Y = 10+10
Y = 20 years.
Putting the value of Y in equation (3)
X = -10 + 3Y
X = -10 + 3 × 20
X = -10 + 60 = 50 years.
Age of ram = X = 50 years.
And,
Age of shyam = Y = 20 years.
